My PhD thesis was awarded the Springer Thesis Award and was turned into a book for “its excellence and the high impact of its contents.” The thesis analysed the techno-economic competitiveness of photovoltaic (PV) systems in providing reactive power support and proposed practical algorithms to optimise the PV power dispatch.

National University of Singapore (NUS) featured me in Inaugural NUS PhD e-Open Day 2020. The aim of the e-Open Day was to showcase all the diverse PhD programmes in NUS to prospective PhD students from all over the world.
Sciencedaily
A research led by my colleague (which I am a part of), Carlos D. Rodríguez-Gallegos, was featured in Sciencedaily, alongside more than 100 news sites, including Forbes, NewScientist, and PV Magazine. The work, published in Joule, has shown that bifacial solar panels with single-axis trackers can generate electricity at the lowest cost in most parts of the world.
Vanity Fair Global Goals List
It was an honour for me to be part of the Vanity Fair and One Young World Global Goals List representing SDG7: Affordable and Clean Energy. The list includes Richard Branson, Jane Goodall, and Ellie Goulding.
BP Advancing Energy Scholar
I was featured as one of the 30 people sponsored by BP to attend 2019 One Young World Summit in London. The scholars are young leaders who are focused on advancing the energy transition, creating low carbon businesses, and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
St. Gallen Symposium
My interview when I attended St. Gallen Symposium as a Leader of Tomorrow. I was invited to participate because of my work in electrifying rural communities through Alva Energi.
Indonesia Mengglobal
Indonesia Mengglobal interviewed me as an Indonesian diaspora who returned to develop Indonesia from within. In the interview, I talked about how my internship in Brazil sparked my interest in the energy industry and about my journey in starting Alva Energi.

The feature is about my Ph.D research presentation at Bimasena, one of the most prestigious energy society in Indonesia, to stakeholders in the Indonesian energy industry. The audience includes Prof. Subroto, other Indonesian ex ministers, members and friends of the Oxford society.
Indonesian Embassy in Singapore
The Indonesian Embassy publication featured my first solar energy community project in Geranting island. The project was supported by the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore as well as many individuals through crowdfunding. This project prompted the founding of Alva Energi.

Our project on improving the livelihood and productivity of Indonesian salt farmers was shortlisted to the top 15 in Young Social Entepreneurs 2016 programme of Singapore International Foundation.
Hertford College, University of Oxford
While I was in Oxford, I started a social enterprise society called Enactus Oxford. One of the projects was called Streetview Oxford: alternative tours of the touristic Oxford guided by homeless people.

The Oxford Mail articles are about Streetview Oxford, a project I started with friends at Enactus Oxford. Anthony Ralph, our tour guide, was featured in both articles as he conducted the tour for local councillors and international tourists.
